Three types of book bindings are available: GBC Binding Sometimes called "comb binding". A good choice for larger manuals or books. GBC binding allows the pages of a book to lay flat while in use. This binding can be used for original documents, as well as rebinding paperbound volumes. It will bind documents from 0.25" to 1.875" thick, and is available in all sizes in black and limited sizes in white. Velo Binding Velo binding binds the pages of a document together using narrow strips of plastic on the front and back of the book. The strips are attached through 0.125" holes punched through the sheets, and heat is used to "weld" them together. Velo binding can bind books up to 3" thick. A variety of binding colors and coordinating plastic covers are available. Velo binding is also used for hardbound books. Hard covers are available in assorted colors. We offer optional gold or silver foil cover imprinting. Fastbind This binding technique uses a cloth-like strip with a glue-laminate on one side of it to hold the covers and inside sheets of a book together. The strip is heated and pressed onto the edges of the book. Once the glue sets, a permanent, flexible binding is created. Fastbinding is available in black and can bind books up to 1" thick.
